A neat and tidy appearance sets an attitude of attentiveness and respect for students, teacher, and the art of dance. Hair must be worn up in a pony tail, hair off face. No hair is to be worn down. Teachers must be able to see the dancer's body outline clearly in order to make proper corrections on posture, alignment, etc. As such, our studio has a defined dress code policy. Proper dance clothes and shoes must be worn in class at all times. You will not be able to participate in class if your child does not have the proper shoes. For example, jewelry must not be loose or dangling. Also, gum chewing is not allowed due to danger of choking and appearance. Below you'll find specific policies per category.
